Hearts Of Iron IV

Paradox asked us to create a trailer to celebrate the 4th anniversary of their world war 2 grand strategy game Hearts Of Iron IV. They wanted a spot with a strong emphasis on the alt history being created in game by the player community.

The result was a spot based on newspaper headlines rewriting the history of how ww2 played out. The trailer is a mix of cinematic cgi scenes cut together with gameplay content and packaged in a classic newspaper design.
